Over the weekend the Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA) where hosted in Seoul in Korea, as yet there has not been much released to the western world about the fashion that was seen on the red carpet. While we wait for pictures of this event to come in I hope to wet your appetite with a look at the fashion of 2NE1 who picked up the award for ‘Song of Year’ at the MAMA.
There is no denying that these girls have been seen in some crazy outfits, but in general they are fun and funky. Take the below nothing seems to match, all four of these ladies are sporting a different look but it works because they use a relatively similar colour palate. As usual they are working tights or skin tight pants, this seems to be the only reoccurring fashion style in the bands wardrobe.

Below you can see that again there are skin tight pants, this is a look that is spreading all over the Asian and western world. It is a trend you need to be careful with, if you are quite skinny you should be fine but if you are anything over a size 10 then you need to look at what you couple with your tights. I would suggest bigger, baggier tops like the singer on the far right that extend to cover the rear. If you are small you can get away with just a normal top.

Here the girls have changed the look up a bit by playing with accessories. By losing the high heels and putting on sneakers they have lost the fun and flirty look and headed in to a grungy, rock and roll place. I prefer 2NE1 as a fun pop group and hope they keep the heels out but it does show you that you can wear your clothes in different ways and if you are feeling like a change maybe you can just have a look at some new accessories.
