With the current fad for oriental food come stylish hairstyles that look great on any hair color. Read some of the trendiest Asian hairstyles that celebrities even try for themselves.

Short hairstyles. Some people think that it is easier to manage short and to some extent this is true. But it doesn’t mean that short is less fashionable. Asian hairstyles for short hair are in fact quite trendy. Some get the bob style that extends only to one’s jaws and has its weight on the sides. The bangs cover the forehead and the rest of the hair is slightly layered. It looks cute and charming, too. Others are getting hair that is laid down straight and short, extending to the cheeks or jaws. Bangs hang in front while the rest of the hair has the same length. This looks good on small faces. Among the Japanese, a popular hairstyle is one that gives you an apple look, with the weight of the hair looking bouncy on the side and with bangs cut completely at the same length, about half an inch before the eyes.

Medium-length hairstyles. Among the most popular hairstyles for hair of medium length is one that is called “flippy.” Hair extends up to the shoulders and with the front being layered and flipped to point towards one’s face, particularly, a person’s eyes. Like other Asian hairstyles, it enhances the look of the eyes and focuses on the face. Hair of this style could be parted in the middle or on one side. The flippy style could also be done in reverse, that is, instead of hair flipping towards one’s face, it could also be that the hair flips away from the face, looking like one’s hair has generally flown away. This is quite stylishly noticeable. In 2008, Michelle Krusiec was seen with this look.

Long hairstyles. Many Asian women still want to keep their hair long, and there are many hairstyles for long hair. The curled look is appealing and somehow good when one’s hair is thin. The curls are made on the ends of the hair, ranging from the middle half to the bottom or the lower middle to the bottom. Hair is mostly curled inwards although it could be curled outwards as well. Layered hair meanwhile looks good for those who have long, thick hair just like Karen Cliché. It borders the face and makes it look really precious.
