Seems summer is finally here for us Europeans so what better excuse to buy some lovely new clothes!
The latest Yumi collection has definitely caught my eye. They have the perfect clothes for summer,with vibrant colours, gorgeous hand stitched embroidery and lots of cute, creative embellishments, like beads, sequins and jewels.
I personally love it because one item of clothing can be so different to the next and have a totally unique feel to them. For example one will have a patchwork affect, one will be tie dye and then the next could be a silky number. I’m not the only one who is a big fan, loads of celebs have been seen wearing the clothes. One of my faves Ferne Cotton has a number of pieces. She’s just the sort of person who wears the clothes, she’s a young, funky and fun type of woman people associate with the brand. Sienna Miller has been seen in Yumi clothes too, so if it’s good enough for an A-lister then it’s good enough for us, don’ t you think?
We are so spoilt for choice though, there are so many lovely clothes about to take us into summer. Another brand that looks like it will be on everyone’s backs this summer is PUFFY. You may not know much about this brand yet but trust me when I say you will. It was established in 2003 but very little is known about the designers behind it. All I know is that it is a great mix of casual yet funky clothes that are feminine but with a twist. Just what every girl wants really. What’s more is that it is so reasonably priced. I’m sure most of us would splash out on an item of clothing if we thought it was worth it but luckily with this collection we don’t have to worry about how much it is but more how much can we have!
The range covers so many different styles that you really could kit yourself out for summer in one go, there are tank tops, dresses, skirts, bikinis and great accessories to go with everything. My top tip for your summer wardrobe? Invest in some PUFFY clothes and do it quick before everyone else catches on to it and then next summer when all your friends are wearing it, you can be really smug!
If you are looking for something a little edgier then you want to check out 59 Seconds. They make contemporary designs based on things seen on the catwalk. You’ll always be bang on trend wearing any of their designs. If you like to work hard but play even harder then this is the brand for you. Don’t worry though, although it all looks really high end it doesn’t have ridiculous prices attached to it. It’s edgy, sophisticated, pretty playful and will make even your super fashionable friends look out of fashion. This in one of Hong Kong’s favourite brands that is rapidly becoming huge all over the world.
