Lingerie, along with flowers and chocolates, has long been a top seller as a Valentines Day gift. This is for multiple reasons but I believe the most prevalent is the fact that it can be enjoyed by both the 
giver and the receiver. There are some women’s rights people out there who will tell you that it’s a selfish gift, it provides no benefit to the woman. But I completely disagree. Here are some of my ideas below to get the best out of your Valentines Day lingerie.
You may have a particular ‘fetish’ that you like; black leather, pick silk, who knows, but you should also consider what your partner likes as well. Get something that the both of you are going to enjoy, most women like the feeling of wearing something provocative under the clothes, even though no one can see it make them feel sexy. Be mindful to find out their correct size and that you are at the stage in your relationship where the gesture will not be misinterpreted.
Ladies if you are buying for your man there is no reason why you can’t get him something you would like to see him in later on. . . or better still buy for yourself, for him! Many guys are too shy to buy lingerie for their partners, not only are they petrified about getting the size wrong they worry that their special someone may take the gift the wrong way. So head to the shops and let him know at dinner that you have something waiting for him back home. Now this is a rather ‘selfish’ gift unless you really go all out, so maybe grab a card and box of chocies as well.
And last but not no means least don’t feel like you have to follow the normal run of things, not everyone likes brief and push up bra’s so explore, I recommend the slip dress if you are buying for a girl, silk on the skin will feel great for her and I guarantee still be as nice to look at for him.
