Song Ji Hyo Poses for InStyle Magazine Cover

Song Ji Hyo is featured on the covers of InStyle Korea for its latest issue. The diva captivates us with her charming beauty and personality. The photoshoot had a monotone set adding a dramatic vibe to the covers.

She wore contrasting ensembles like soft and delicate dresses paired with leather jackets and boots. The theme was dreamy and ethereal with a hint of edge. She also wore a sweater in black, white and grey stripes with a big geometric design. She completed her look with fur jacket, knee high socks and boots. Ji Hyo also wore a lovely sequined dress with fringe and black shade.  She added a fur collar and felt hat for a winter inspired ensemble. The outfit that showcased her sexiness was her fourth outfit which bared her long legs and emphasized her tiny waist. The Kpop group Girls’ Generation are popular not just with their talents but with their taste of fashion and style.  Many fashionistas look up to their fashion sense and they have become inspiration to some. Aside from their appearances in music events and awards ceremonies they also look fashionable even when their traveling.

Uhm Jung-Hwa for Marie Claire Korea

The sexy diva Uhm Jung-hwa takes the cover of Marie Claire Korea for its January 2012 issue.  She showed off her sensual and sexy personality as she wore various outfits.  She dresses up in black ensembles which featured dramatic designs.  She wore leather, fur and feathers. The singer doesn’t seem her age which is 42.  She is one of the most influential and talented singers in the music industry. She is also popular because of her acting skills.  Many look up to her because of her versatility. She is also a fashionista who owns clothing and lingerie line. Her line ‘Corner Suite’ and ‘ZHUM in New York’ is renowned for its stylish designs.

For her first look she wore a fur vest embellished with feathers. She was clad in an all black outfit which added edge and character. The corset top added sexiness to her outfit. She also wore black leather and feathers for her second shot. The leather top she wore featured a stylish design adding sex appeal to her look. It brought a dominatrix vibe to the outfit. For the third shoot she wore a stylish feather collar adding more style to her look for the photo shoot. Uhm Jung-hwa also wore a sexy cutout dress.  The dress showcased her sexy figure with its tailored cut. She also showed off her quirky side by wearing a black catsuit, fedora hat and black boots ala Catwoman.

Nam Sang-mi in January’s Sure magazine

Nam Sang-mi takes the cover of Sure Magazine for its January issue. The concept behind the photo shoot is the theme “The show must go on”. Nam Sang-mi looked fashionably chic and romantic in the photo shoot. In an interview with the magazine Nam Sang-mi shares about some beauty secrets and reveals about her relationship with Lee Sang-yoon.

Only one Japanese fashion designer can say “PLEATS PLEASE”, yes the iconic Issey Miyake saying.

Born in Hiroshima 1938, the capital of Hiroshima Prefecture and the largest city in the Chugoku region of western Honshu and the largest island of Japan, Miyakes work is best known for combining western and eastern elements. From studying graphic design at Tokyo’s Tama Art University to moving to Paris after graduation, Miyakes designs and ideas have evolved. Miyake started his work in fashion from working behind the scenes back in 1966 and in 1973 Miyake went independent, establishing his studio in Toykyo and displaying his own work.

What did Miyakes fashion have to offer the world? Miyake’s fashion is a timeline in itself, the early days of Miyake saw one of the most important designs, the jersey dress that was named “Tattoo,” this featured a print modeled after Japanese style tattoos. The print was designed by the textile designer Makiko Minagawa, who joined Miyake’s activities in 1971. During the 70′s Miyakes fashion was traditional but onto experimentation and the 80′s Miyake fashion was born. It was the 1980s that saw Miyake’s name become recognised, his bold multi coloured designs took the stage. The New York department store Bloomingdale’s devoted a section to selling Miyake’s “East meets West” look, tattoo designs to coats featuring the sashiko technique, Miyakes fashion grew from here. The 90′s saw the pleat in fashion, Miyakes pleat please fashion was born, made of oversize pieces of fabric that were sewn together and hand-fed, sandwiched between two sheets of paper, through a heat press so it would give them permanent pleats and leave them ready to wear, an inspiration to the world of fashion. The Issey Miyake Fete collection continued into 2004, womens fashion became colourful and it was a celebration of colour.

Miyakes fashion is expressive, it is technology driven and has seen an evolvement in the fashion world. Miyake has won numerous fashion awards, including the Neiman Marcus Award and the Council of Fashion Designers of America International Award.

Issey Miyake’s fashion has evolved in many ways, he developed a friendship with Apple’s Steve Jobs and produced the black turtlenecks which became a part of Jobs’ signature attire. Jobs said, “So I asked Issey to make me some of his black turtlenecks that I liked, and he made me like a hundred of them.”
