Supernova wins the first ever “Hallyu Award” at the Korea Music Copyright Awards

Supernova Got the “Hallyu Award” at the recently held 1st Music Copyright Awards in Korea.  The J-pop group Supernova made rose to fame in Korea. Their singles from 2009 until today continues to dominate the Oricon’s top list.  They were also named as one of the Best Dresser Awards by Men’s Fashion Unity together with KARA.  The members of Supernova are moving on with other careers like acting in Korea and Japan. They are also working on their promotions for their Korean release.

The 1st Music Copyright Awards is quite different from other awards. The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the KB Citizen Bank.  Many artists participated in the event which includes: SHINee, Homme, DJ DOC, Baek Jiyeong, Seol Undo, Supernova and more.

KARA win “Best Dressed in Kpop” award at The 40th International Best Dressed Awards

The Japan Men’s Fashion Unity recently celebrated their 40th anniversary and they wanted to celebrate the event with a bang.  They gave out The Best Dresser Awards.  The 40th International Best Dressed awards was held at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in November 30. KARA and Supernova got the award for their fashion style.  They were given the best dressed in the category of K-pop. They were present during the awards night. KARA is currently working on their full length album “Super Girl”.

IU and Suzy’s for Last Fantasy

IU and Suzy showcased some whimsical an chic outfits in their Last Fantasy concept photos.  The two lovely ladies wore monochrome outfits with peter pan collar and puffed sleeves which made them looked like life size dolls.

G.Na shows off Korean Fashion with New York Vibe

G.Na visited the busy city of New York to work on her latest photo shoot for Star Hwabo.  The sexy Korean star shows off her sexy body in her latest photo shoot. She wore outfits that showcased all the right curves as she posed with confidence and allure.  She also transformed her sexy look to boho inspired in a different set.  She wore paisley prints and a hat to show off her boho chic vibe.

The inspiration behind the photo shoot is the styles seen in the streets of New York.  G.Na surely knows how to fuse two great fashion styles by blending the Korean style with the western influence.  She had fun while doing the entire photo shoot in New York City.

TVXQ Wore All White Outift at the Asia Fan Party 2011 in Singapore

The members of the Korean pop group TVXQ namely: Choikang Changmin, U-Know Yunho performed at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the TVXQ! Asia Fan Party 2011.  They were all clad in all white outfits as they performed their hit singles, “Maximum, “How Can I”, “Before You Go, “The Way You Are”, “Mirotic”, “Rising Sun” and “Keep Your Head Down”.

Although fans weren’t allowed to go onstage the members of TVXQ were able to give their fans autographed posters.  They also answered interviews from fans.  Both Yunho and Changmin captivated the hearts of their Singaporean fans as they tried to show off their Singlish skills.  As they answered the queries of many fans they inserted the most popular word ‘lah’ which stirred the fans.

The all white ensemble the boys wore in their performance made them looked like heavenly bodies.  They outshine not just with their looks and fashion statement but with their talent.  And this is what captivated their fan’s hearts.

Jinusean member Sean displayed his deep affection for his wife via his Twitter.

Sean recently shared the photo above and wrote, “An angel from heaven. I’m the lucky guy that hid her wings to prevent her from flying back home“.

The photo is from a photo shoot his wife Jang Hye Young completed for ‘ELLE Korea‘. She is dressed in a laced navy dress, lying sensuously on a bed of flowers.

The Sean-Jung Hye Young couple wed back in 2004, and currently has 4 children together, includingHael who was born on July 16th of this year.

In related news, the ladies of YG Entertainment also participated in this particular shoot with Jung Hye Young. 2NE1, Gummy, and Yoo Inna donned unique makeup and completed the ‘The 5 fairytales of the YG ladies’ photo shoot with a ‘mysterious’ concept.

On November 22, stars attended the VIP movie premiere for “Special Investigation Bureau” at Seoul Lotte Cinema.

Of course a movie premiere means a red carpet event, and a red carpet event means that stars have to pay attention to what they wear. This event was no different.

For the fall season lots of trench coats, leather jackets, long sleeved shirts, jeans, boots, and even scarves were in attendance.
