On November 25th, singer BoA took part in the official press conference for SBS‘s upcoming audition program, ‘K-POP Star‘, alongside YGE‘s Yang Hyun Suk and JYPE‘s J.Y. Park.

Being the only female judge certainly gives BoA some leeway to dress in a way that allows her to stand out from her male colleagues, and she did just that for the official press conference.

The main item in BoA’s outfit was a black and metallic gold mini-dress, detailed with fine sequins and tassels. This designer dress was from Balmain‘s 2011 F/W Collection, which costs a whopping $29,700 USD.

The dress was complemented with a pair of black suede, lace-up ankle boots  by Burberry. It was reported that these boots were a personal item that BoA had purchased herself. The killer height of these boots added length to her legs, thus making her overall proportions look long and lean.

To top it off, BoA applied a clean, fresh look with her make-up and opted for a tidy up-do. She didn’t use any accessories, which would’ve added too much ‘weight’ to her outfit, as the dress alone carries many details.

Marie Claire has revealed photos from Park Shi Hoo‘s new pictorial.

Recently, Park Shi Hoo wrapped up his role on ‘The Princess’ Man‘. During his break, he went toBali for this photoshoot with Marie Claire.  Even though this is part of his job, he got to hang out by the beautiful sea.

Park Shi Hoo said, “It’s an amazing thing to live as an actor. Even if things are slow, even if things go back a little bit, if I can enjoy the present, those things won’t be a problem.”

His photoshoot will be featured in the December issue.

Before performing at the 2011 MAMA that took place at Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 29th, the ladies of SNSD were present at the Singapore Marina Bay Sands Hotel to attend a related press conference. The girls appeared professional and classy, living up to their title as the queens of Hallyu as they shared their thoughts on standing on the MAMA stage.

200 reporters from 120 different media sources were at the press conference, and the girls were flooded with various questions as they are gaining popularity not only inKoreaand Asia but overseas inEuropeas well.

When asked, “How long does it take to perfect your makeup for a large-scale performance such as MAMA?”, the girls responded, “Stage makeup takes anywhere from 2-3 hours“, further proving how diligent the SNSD girls are to perfect their performance, starting with their external appearance.

A German reporter then asked, “You have a lot of fans in Germany as well. Would you be able to come perform in Germany in the future?”, to which the girls responded, “We are always ready to go where our fans want us, whether it be Germany or elsewhere“.

“We think that the 2011 MAMA will be a good opportunity for us to communicate with a lot of different people through our music. It’s another chance for us to more intimately share our music“, they continued.

The 13th annual MAMA was streamed live in thirteen different countries includingSingapore,Japan, andThailand, while the taped event will be broadcasted in seven countries includingAmerica,China, andFrance.

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha has recently caught the full attention of netizens by undergoing a complete transformation in her latest December photo shoot for ‘Dazed and Confused‘ fashion magazine.

She wore a black brassiere under a flashy gold jacket. Around her neck hung several different pieces of heavy jewelry, and she wore a navy blue sheer skirt with matching blue lipstick to complete her provocative look.

SNSD‘s Jessica has delivered a glamorous pictorial and an in-depth interview through ‘First Look‘ magazine, a double treat for fans.

The concept for the shoot was ‘Break the Ice’, and Jessica was dolled up in a luxurious style reminiscent of a ’60s high society queen. Elegant and seductive, her sexy figure was outlined in a tight black dress, while her legs were played up in thigh-high boots. Jessica accessorized with classic pieces like a pearl necklace and a rose, but she also showed off her quirky side by donning a fake moustache.

In her interview, the singer remarked, “I don’t dislike my nickname, ‘Ice Princess’. I guess if you take it the wrong way, it could mean arrogant and cold, but I think every girl needs to seem a little intimidating.”

“However, the longer I promote with SNSD, the better I seem to express my emotions,” she continued. “If I find something to be hilarious, I fall backwards laughing all the way down,” she said, explaining how much she has opened up and changed.

“I have a lot of interest in fashion. I would like to study it a bit more and possibly find work in the fashion industry,” she also revealed. “It’s a lot of fun trying on different clothes for photoshoots like this, and it’s helping me learn a lot more about fashion as well.”

With regards to her sister, f(x) member Krystal, Jessica said, “She’s a friend that I can talk about everyday life with and give advice to. I want to protect her and be able to lead her in the right direction.”

In closing, Jessica shared her plans for the future, remarking that she would like to try a variety of different things including song-writing, acting, entertainment programs, musicals, and more.
