Beauty icon Hwang Jung Eum has made a refreshing transformation for her pictorial with makeup brand Peripera.

The brand’s stylists sought to bring out a ‘country girl’ charm for their S/S pictorial, and so they braided Hwang Jung Eum’s hair into two neat pigtails. Shimmer powder, candy-orange lip gloss, and simple black mascara were used for her makeup palette, adding to her youthful look. To complete it, she wore a flower-print top with lace-up ribbons and used a lollipop as a prop.

The effect is cute and a little sexy; a refreshing change from the glamorous concepts flooding the industry at the moment.

Hwang Jung Eum’s full pictorials will be released in a fashion magazine in March.

One of the hottest ‘it bags’ of 2011 became popular after it was seen with KARA‘s Goo Hara, Jung So Min, and Yoon Si Yoon.

The bag was identified to be from Vincis Bench, and it was first spotted in SBS’s ‘City Hunter‘ as an accessory to Hara’s stripped mini-dress. The mustard yellow gave a pop of color to the outfit, while the the supple leather allowed it to be both casual and sophisticated.

Jung So Min was seen with the same bag in a pictorial cut, but in a white top and denim shorts. Since her look was youthful, the sweet side ribbon further accentuated the concept and added an element of fun.

The same bag was further popularized after it became known as ‘Yoon Si Yoon’s bag’ in MBC’s “I’m a Flower, Too“.

With a bit of research, this ballet-inspired Vincis Bench bag was found to be 729,000 won (roughly $630 USD).

Bag lovers flocked to stores to achieve the same look and are anticipating the next “it” bag for 2012.

‘Trend idols’ INFINITE, who are currently busily preparing for their first solo concert, participated in a new photoshoot with fashion magazine ‘High Cut‘!

The boys were dressed in eight different themes, which included pieces that ranged from preppy suits to fur pieces. Known for their teamwork both on and off stage, INFINITE worked seamlessly together to bring their best traits out for the camera, while falling easily into natural poses with one another.

Photographer Joo Yong Kyun expressed, “I thought INFINITE were just idol singers, but this opportunity made me look at them in a different light. They’re not just idols, as they have infinite passion and potential as models as well.”

In the trio cut centered around white pieces, Woohyun‘s dressed in a Solid Homme knit top with grayEmporio Armani pants, while Sungyeol‘s wearing a VanHart Homme ivory coat. Sungjong‘s shirt is by Neil Barrett.

In L‘s individual cut, he’s wearing a fur vest by Joey Richie and a black cardigan by SYSTEM HOMME. The group picture featuring a black and gray theme, the boys are wearing pieces by Bell & Nouveau,Doctor Martin, and Ann Demeulemeester.
