As most of our regular readers and RSS subscribers know (were on Twitter too) we often talk about YesStyle.com sales and voucher codes.
Now as many of our website visitors are from America and United Kingdom we often get asked is it safe to buy Asian fashion from websites abroad?

So we thought we would put YesStyle to the test.  It is obvious that YesStyle.com have some of the latest Asian fashion trends, a fantastic looking website and have some great sales on too.

There has recently been at redesign of the YesStyle website and I used to think the previous website was pretty good too.  Fashion is broken down extremely well and it doesn’t take long for you to filter between, colour, size and what is currently in stock.

Images are some of the best I have seen whilst shopping for Asian fashion, you get pictures form most angles and if the item of clothing has a different colour then you can view those too.  Pictures are often taken in a natural scene and not just some model posing in a studio, so its easier to get an all round feeling for the clothing item.

The website loads quickly, navigation is easy, there are even some videos too.  The website is also available in many languages, so whether your from USA, UK, China, Japan and South Korea you should have no trouble in reading the website.

Unlike many U.S and U.K fashion websites, YesStyle.com ships all around the world and shipping costs are very reasonable too.  There are clear guidelines to shipping overseas and shipping times are accurate (see below).

YesStyle.com offers a safe online shopping experience and the path from product choice > basket > to payment is simple, clean and unlike many shopping carts, its not confusing.

Shipping time was 7 days, it arrived before then.  Unfortunately I was not at home to take the parcel, so it sat with DHL for a few days before I could arrange to collect.  The parcel was wrapped very well and was also boxed inside to protect the item.  On a side note DHL had also rewrapped it – not great for the environment but I am sure there is a reason.

So….what did I buy?

Well I ordered a pair of brown shoes, a cardigan / top and a chequered shirt.  The first thing I noticed was that everything looked exactly as it did on the website.  The quality of the shoes were amazing and they feel extremely comfortable too, better value for money than buying in the UK.  I was a bit worried about buying shoes without trying them on, but the size charts on YesStyle.com were spot on.  I even had someone compliment my shoes today whilst at work.

The cardigan fitted as expected and again the size guide was spot on.  The quality of the material was excellent and the cardigan feels well made.  The shirt was pretty much as expected, similar style to some of the chequered shirts you would find in Hennes or Top Man, I personally prefer a similar cut on a shirt so it come up very nicely.

Conclusion

Like many other readers of this website I have always been worried about ordering where shipping from long distances was needed, but my online shopping experience with YesStyle has been easier then shopping on American fashion websites.  Clothing is of the highest quality, there is always a great range of colours and sizes and size charts are very accurate.  I almost wish there was something wrong with my order so I could test how good the customer service would be.

Danielle, in some cases they only measure one side. So if it’s unnaturally small, just multiply it by 2 : )

I’m interested in an honest and reliable review for . I was hoping to shop there, as their styles are cute and even cheaper than . However, there are literally no reliable reviews on the internet. All I can find are the same bad reviews, copied and pasted word-for-word. It’s always the same two bad reviews, and although I suspect they were only added by a competing site, I really don’t know what to think. I’d really appreciate your review on the site! Thanks.

I loved the online catalogue, the brilliant pictures. But then trying to buy ( from the UK) I could never get beyond ” shipping”. I press proceed to secure payment and just get sent back to my basket.

Thank you for this helpful review. I was wondering though, were there additional charges for import duties and/or VAT? If so, how much were they?

I’ve never ordered anything from outside the US, so I’m worried about how much these “hidden” costs will accumulate to. I’ve read a complaint somewhere that a US buyer was: “charged $130 in customs for a YesStyle order”. I don’t want that to happen to me as I definitely won’t be able to afford it.

Please, any help regarding this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you admin for your follow up. Unfortunately, no response from Yesstyle yet :(

I did some search on the Internet. According to what I’ve found, personal orders of value $200 or less are not subjected to import duties in the US. Although some couriers such as Fedex present all their shipments as “dutiable” to speed up procedures at customs. Unfortunately, they charge the customers for this unnecessarily added extra charge.

Can anyone confirm this?

And does anyone know how the system works in the UK?

I have my eye on multiple Yesstyle items, but am hesitant to order because of all of this. Some of the items I want became “no longer available” too after all of my delay! :(

If I can’t find further information regarding this matter, I may just look past all this customs issue and just go ahead and order before I miss my chance on more stuff. I just hope I don’t end up paying too much for that though..

Why isn’t there enough information regarding this matter anywhere on the Internet? Or am I looking in the wrong places?

On a more related matter to the article, according to a video review I saw on YouTube, Yesstyle shoes run a bit too small and one better order one size larger. But you seem to have found the size spot on. May I ask you, if you don’t mind, whether you have wide or narrow feet? Mine are wide and I’m worried that the shoes I want to order may end up being too tight. Any thoughts on this matter?

Sorry I’m kind of late in responding, but I really want to give my opinion about this..

This is for Stevie and anyone else hoping to get an honest-to-goodness review about Yesstyle.com from an actual customer, not a competing website or someone who’s just looking to vent about a bad experience

I’m 17 years old, and I unfortunately fell in love with the site and ordered multiple times before I read any reviews (kind of dumb and naive, I know).

In terms of their clothing selection there is great variety. However, their customer service is terrible. On every occasion my order took over a month to arrive, and items were always missing because they were out of stock. In addition to this, the customer service dodged my requests for a refund and eventually stopped answering my emails. The site currently owes me over $100, which may not seem like a lot to some, but is a big deal to me because I have a student’s salary. A.K.A. allowance of about $5 a month. I feel that I have given the site many chances in hopes of getting a success story like some of the ones I’ve seen posted, but I now give up because they are very unreliable and to be honest, I am a little hurt by the disrespect they show toward customers.

I know this may seem small-scale compared to some of the other comments and complaints, but I hope nobody else regrets this like I did

hey! I’m just wondering about the shoes size.. are asian shoes smaler in sizes than here in Europe? like; if the size is 240, which is 38 do I have to get 39? my shoe size is 38 in European.

here is the story :
I bought three pairs of shoes a month ago. Then I find out I need to return two shoes to exchange sizes. Then I called the US customer service center to make sure I understand the process. I sent the shoes, 3weeks ago…and I heard nothing ever since then.

I wrote continue email the customer service to chase for my shoes’ location. It’s badly and poor response. It’s been 3 weeks now, I still did not hear anything about my shoes..or if I ever be ever to get it back.

You paying for Nothing. You get no service. worst part You get nothing ! You get extremely terrible terrible experience about online shopping

therefore, my advice…. if you don’t mind wait for a long long long period of getting your purchase items Or you don’t mind paying them but expect nothing…. then go shopping at YesStyle.com.

More important note I forgot to say. Sometimes, they might not have the item even they show up online. I bought couple dresses a month ago. It suppose to be shipped within 14days. I waited..and waited… 2 weeks passed. I still hear nothing from them. Then I called the customer service center. They told me one of the dresses they don’t have it. They didn’t even bother to let me know or send me the rest of the dresses I order. If I never made the call..I will never know.

Ok, so I bought from YesStyle for the first time last month (I live in Canada) and i had an amazing experience.
I bought 8 items, and all of them arrived the day they were slated to. Everything looked exactly like it did online and I love everything! The only problem was they sent me one wrong item. So I mailed it back, and they’ve already refunded my shipping. Customer service was fast, and very good. I have purchased another order from them because it was such a good experience!

I am begging you to refund me the order I placed almost like 2 months ago. I did not get anything from them ever since I placed the order. This is consider….CHEATING.

I sent the shoes immediately for exchange right after I got them. I sent them with the original package to the US address you provide. I have no idea why you keep saying that you did not receive my shoes. This is unacceptable. I believe my shoes has been delivered, and I really knew it.

This has been going on for months….Can I beg you help me to stop this nightmare for me ? I will be very appreciate if you help me out. I have been having a lot of nightmares ever since I start shopping at Yesstyle.com. I placed for 4 orders for total…and for 4 items out of 4 orders did not get delivered…I did not get the items I want , and yet, I lost a lot of money and energies….. I can’t get the refund. Why am I have to pay a lot of money and get nothing, but nightmares ?

I am hoping YesStyle could refund the money to me. It’s not a very big amount. The total for my order on 6313457 ( USD 46.4 ) and 6331750 ( USD 52 ).

Please refund me my money..Please…Please…Please….. I have no idea what else can I do to get the money back. This is really cheating….!

I’ve been searching all over the internet for reviews and i’m still a little skeptical about the website =/ there have been wonderful reviews of the website but others not so great. Mainly it’s been about the shipping&Customer Service. Truthfully,is the customer service good or bad? And if i order items that say 1-2 days and pay the highest quality for shipping for the U.S will it take FOREVER for my items to arrive??? :P please help me?

i’ve ordered from yesstyle.com and the first time i got a bag and it seriously came in 2 days like it promised. i was so happy. i loved the bag the only problem was that the shoulder strap was kind of thin and i pack a lot in my bags so it ripped a little but never ripped completely so that i couldnt use it. i ordered shoes from there yesterday and since i live in america the shoe sizes are crazy different but their size chart helped me. they should be here withing the next two days so when i get them i’ll review them on my blog.

Yesstyle did not have one of the items I ordered, then sent me the wrong item in place of another.My other two items are of such poor quality I want to return them…and these are expensive items all over 75 dollars us a piece. The quality for that price should be way better.I mean come on loose threads on the jeans and what not. Yesstyle says they will refund only after I take a picture of the items I then have to mail the items back at my own cost and they will only offer store credit. Considering the poor items I don’t want store credit!Really disappointed.I will post an update once this resolves.
