China is an extremely large country and one that is extremely diverse. Peter Som is another famous Chinese export and is a highly regarded designer that has dressed many celebrities including glamorous Scarlett Johansson. His first collection was launched in 1999, although he also has a wealth of experience to add to bring to the table as he also worked for fashion powerhouses such as Calvin Klein and Bill Blass. His designs prove to be popular with people who like clean cut and effortless designs and are extremely luxurious in appearance.Elley J. Chun is another well known Chinese fashion designer, and although he died twelve years ago, left a legacy behind that inspired thousands of other designers worldwide. He is known to have been one of the biggest and most recognised names in Chinese fashion design and was renowned for creating colourful and innovative garments that appealed to the masses.

When it comes to talking about Chinese designers and people that have influenced the sector heavily, no mention of these topics would be complete without the name 'Vera Wang' springing to mind. Vera Wang is known for her pristine and delightfully designed and structured wedding dresses and has really done a lot for the reputation of China on the worldwide fashion stage. She is perhaps the most famous Chinese Fashion designer of all time and has done wonders when it comes to putting the country on the global fashion map.As you can see from the number of successful Chinese designers that have managed to make a name for themselves in a very difficult market, China really does have something when it comes to producing creations that people the world over will love. The designs are innovative and good quality and incorporate a blend of influences which serves to make them popular with people who like to be a little different.
